I really liked the way this book is developing, since chapter thirteen (13)through chapter sixteen (16) had been occurring different things in which make me think, what would happened if we leaved in a community like Jonas did, also it make me think in the good things this society may have, all of this bad things that make our world as it is, like the hunger, war (battle), animal poaching, discrimination, fights, disagreements, etc. But as always we have to look form the other point of view,in which this kind of society may have, bad things. If we don't have the freedom to choose or to express our ideas everything would we the same, they wouldn't have likes or dislikes, we wouldn't agree, or disagree, we wouldn't have that heart bit of taking a decision, a risk.
As Jonas continued receiving memories from The Giver, Jonas experience different things, now Jonas was able to see all the colors, with in keep them. The Giver thought that is was time to Jonas learn new things. Jonas already knew how pain felt, The Giver thought that is was time to teach things that would make everything different in someones life such as love . After that everything inside Jonas changed, he wanted to make everybody know what he just learn and experience. One night after this incredible feeling Jonas thought that helping his father with baby Gabe would be better for him. Jonas was playing as usual with him and something rare happened, Jonas transmit a memory to baby Gabriel. Suddenly he knew that baby Gabe would be the next receiver of memories.
When I read this sequence of events I felt some much joy, cause love is the key of everything, for understanding, por acceptance, for express felling or ideas, I felt like if someone had found a ``something´´that was missing form a whole. With this events happening I predict that Jonas with this new knowledge would like to change everything that sound him, as his friends, family, community, he would like to make things with justice, like the freedom to express their selfs, to had the liberty to choose and some much things that would make his community happier.
